Care tips for superfit GORE-TEX shoes
The GORE-TEX membrane incorporated into the lining is windproof and waterproof, but permeable to water vapour and therefore breathable. With shoes that feature GORE-TEX, it’s important not to restrict their functionality through the use of care products. Therefore, you should avoid products with a high content of grease or oil, as these hinder the breathability of the upper material.
How to enjoy the GORE-TEX function for longer
- Please don’t wash shoes with GORE-TEX in the washing machine, as this can destroy the membrane, which contains very small pores. The shoe would then no longer be waterproof.
- Coarse dirt is best cleaned with lukewarm water and a brush for leather shoes or a sponge for textile shoes.

New superfit GORE-TEX shoes leave our factory with a water-repellent finish. So you don’t need to impregnate a new shoe.
